The ambiance is cute and though I went alone and felt comfortable it would be even better to meet up with people there since it's not loud and you can actually have a conversation. The pork sliders are like mini banh mi. I'd go again."

"Came to this place for the first time for the R&B Jukebox Brunch.and it was AWESOME!! The food was really good, I had the fish and grits and the whole wings. We had a VIP table for 6 however technically it’s only room for 4 comfortably. Our host did bring us 2 more chairs and we was able to eat and drink with some room. I think the management need to fix that issue and have the two extra chairs already there for the 6 person VIP booth otherwise it’s not gonna work with 4 adults sitting tightly shoulder to shoulder on the bench seat. The food is also fresh and comes out FAST when you order so that’s really cool. The DJ’s will play a mixture of hip hop and r & b and they keep the crowd going however I’d prefer r & b only since that’s what it’s called but ok no big deal. The staff definitely works hard to keep everything cool and I like that. I’d say get there early or definitely have a reservation. Security will search and check bags and do pat downs so don’t bring no mess with you lol. I will definitely be coming back to this place."

"Excited for our newest restaurant in West Sac, The Midway Bar and Grill. The atmosphere is fun, tvs all around, music playing and a dartboard to top off. The outside patio is cozy and looked like it was pet friendly. We tried a little bit of everything. The Nibble Sampler was great (Brussel sprouts, green beans and fried Mac and cheese). We also had the Dipper, the Banh Mi and the lava cake! Everything was great our drinks were refreshing and the service was fantastic. Haven’t felt that well taken care of in a very long time. Thanks to Andrew and Kiki and everyone for taking such good care of us. Excited to come back and try more yummy goodness."

"The Midway – A Must-Visit in Sacramento! I had an incredible experience at The Midway. The space is open and inviting—perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Their shaken beef garlic noodles are hands-down the best I’ve had, and the Phowich Dip is a flavor-packed standout that I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. Every bite was a hit. Next time I’m in Sacramento, The Midway is at the top of my list. Highly recommend for anyone who loves bold flavors and a great vibe."
